Mr Gary Heffner, Jr, 63, resident of Sunnyside Retirement Home, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at Hospice House Chapel in Forest City, NC.

Mr Heffner was preceded in death by his parents, Gary W Heffner Sr and Shirley Hardin Heffner; and infant son, Wayne Heffner; and 1 brother, Mike Heffner.

He is survived by 1 son, Shane Heffner and wife Christena of Shelby, NC; 5 brothers, Eddie Heffner and wife Trish, David Heffner and wife Tammie, all of Kings Mountain, NC, Dane Heffner and Dale Heffner and wife Elizabeth, all of Rutherfordton, NC and Geoffrey Heffner and wife Robin of Shelby; 1 grandchil; and 1 step-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
