Faye Thompson Beaver

Mrs Faye Thompson Beaver, 58, wife of Roy Beaver of Big Springs Ave, Forest City, died at 11:45am Saturday in the Broughton Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Polk County, daughter of the late Martin C and Bessie McGuinn Beaver, and a member of Florence Baptist Church.

Also surviving are five brothers, Wesley of Route 4, Rutherfordton, Roy of Spindale, Worth of Forest City, Route 3 and Baxter fo Detroit, Mich, and Leslie Thompson of Atlanta; six sisters, Mrs Walford Newman, Mrs Lawrence Lovelace, Mrs Shirley Toler, all of Detroit, Mich, Mrs Alvin Dixon of Spindale, Mrs John Pegram of Route 1, Rutherfordton, and Mrs James Netherland of Atlanta.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2pm at New Hope United Methodist Church by the Revs Kenneth Lawson and Brougton Strickland. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
