Mrs Denise Hughes Lee, 54, of 1435 Old US Highway, Ellenboro NC, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs Lee was preceded in death by a step-granddaughter, Saray Graybill.

She is survived by her husband of 221 years, Dennis Lee; her parents, Fred Hughs and Katherine Owens Hughes of Shelby; 2 daughters, Shannon Lovelace and husband Steven of Ellenboro, and Amy Willard and husband Stephen of Forest City; 2 step-daughters, Sylvia Graybill and husband Rusty and Michelle Garrett, all of Forest City; 2 sisters, Daren Willard and husband Terry of Forest City, and Debbie Wood and husband Bryan of Clermont, FL; and 15 grandchildren.
