Mrs Cleone Upton Gamble, 86, of Spingdale, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010. A Celebration of Life Service was held at First Baptist Church, Spindale, NC.

Mrs Gamble was preceded in death by her husband, William Jennings Gamble; her parents, Will and Carma Flack Upton; and 1 son, Harold Gamble.

She is survived by 2 children, Charlotte Womack and husband Scott of Rutherfordton, NC, and Steve Gamble and wife Sylvia of Lexington, NC; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, L D Upton and wife Betty of Caroleen, NC and Dwight Upton of Marion, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
