The Lee County Genealogical and Historical Society meets every forth Tuesday at the Lee County Library in the Auditorium.

They have transcribed and published two books of early Lee County marriage records. The records are listed by the groom’s name and indexed by the bride, witnesses, and person who performed the marriage. Please get in touch with the society for more information.
