Saturday of the month, January through May and September
Regular meetings usually end about 11:30 a.m. Non-members are always welcome to attend these free programs. You will find the Society's programs posted on our Events page.
The Greensboro Library's Genealogy Department
is located in the same building open seven days a week.

The Guilford County Genealogical Society, founded in 1974, is a
non-profit organization of about 230 members nationwide,
dedicated to genealogy and family history research, education
Through its educational programs and publications, GCGS promotes interest in genealogy and standards of genealogical research. GCGS also promotes the collection and preservation of family records,
manuscripts, documents and other genealogy materials. Although the primary focus of GCGS is Guilford County genealogy, many of GCGS's programs are of general interest to anyone interested in genealogy.
