Travis L. Bowman, 68, of Hudson, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at Camelot Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Granite Falls.

Mr. Bowman was born in Caldwell County to the late Charlie Lee Bowman and Swannie Smith Bowman.

He was a retired brick mason and of the Lutheran Faith.

Mr. Bowman is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Mathewson of Hudson, and Meretta Gentry-Frank of Hudson; and his nieces, Betsy Amico, Reba Mathewson, Robin Smith, Eva Richards, Jill Marshall; also his nephews, Michael Mathewson, Murdock Marshall.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Pendry�s Chapel with the Pastor Marcus Ollis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
