Linda Kay Francum, 61, of Lenoir, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Mrs. Francum was born in Avery County to Reece Clark of Newland and the late Cora Lee Daniels Clark. She was a member of Word and Truth Ministries.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Donald Francum of the home; a son, Ricky Francum and wife Frankie of Lenoir; a daughter, Donna Deitz and husband Jeff of Maiden; two brothers, Randall Clark of Newland, and David Clark and wife Kay of Longview. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jonathan Hester, Cpl Christopher Francum, Ashley and Mara Francum, and Sydney Deitz; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Caleb Kirby.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the Word and Truth Ministries with the Rev. Bill Bentley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
