Kay Clark Lampert, 74, of Clarks Chapel Road, Lenoir, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Frye Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 16, 1935, in Caldwell County to the late George Franklin and Aurelia (Sam) Crump Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell B. Lampert; five brothers; and two sisters.


Ms. Lampert was a retired LPN and a member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.


Survivors include three sons, Macon A. Clark and wife Angela of Granite Falls, Robert E. Hobbs of Lenoir, and Curtis R. Hobbs and wife Lisa of Little River, S.C.; one daughter, Ms. Donna Chandler of Panama City, Fla.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Beverly Kennedy and husband Billy, and Ms. Patti Austin, both of Ozark, Ala.; four brothers, Bill H. Clark and James L. Clark, both of Lenoir, Jack C. Clark of Kissimmee, Fla., and Gary F. Clark of Hudson; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Clarks Chapel Baptist Church conducted by Dr. David B. Roberts. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.


The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.


Serving as pallbearers will be Ms. Lampert�s grandsons.
