Helen Mae Price Pinson, 90, of Lenoir died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Pinson was born in Caldwell County to the late Randolph Price and Dora West Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood S. Pinson; two brothers, Colin and James Price; two sisters, Marie Price and Grace Dickson.

She was retired from Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong member of College Avenue Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Group.

Survivors include her sons, Roger Pinson and wife Sylvia of Lenoir and Richard Pinson of Lenoir; two grandchildren, Jonathan Pinson and Sharon Pinson Dawkins; two great-grandchildren, Asa and Shelby Pinson.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Pendry�s Chapel with the Rev. David Everette officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until 2 p.m. at Pendry�s Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Sadler, Larry Price, Charles Price, Jeremiah Price, Timothy Moore and James Moore Jr.
