There are residents from many areas of the province listed in these records (See list below) which only goes to prove how far afield our ancestors travelled to find a spouse. Most brides were from Sunbury County, while many Grooms were from away. Although most surnames are correct, some may need to be pronounced to get a glimpse of what the correct spelling might be.

Most areas mentioned are Parishes, even Woodstock and Fredericton are probably Parishes, rather than towns. Oromocto, is an exception. This may be around the present town , or anywhere along the Oromocto River.
