ALLAN KENNETH LOMAS

    The picture was taken at Base Borden Ontario Oct 1966 after #658 won "Best Squadron" at the 5th annual inter-squadron sports meet. A. K. Lomas was presented the trophy by Colonel H.C.F. Elliott Commander of Base Borden. Referred to as Canadian Forces Commanding Officer's Trophy...this trophy is the most treasured of all and is awarded to the squadron which compiles the greatest number of points throughout the entire sports meet.  A. K. Lomas C.D. C.O. accepted the trophies on behalf of the Cadets.  More than 200 boys from eight area air cadet squadrons attended the meet designed to promote comradeship and friendly rivalry.
