Lubec: Helen S. Sailsbury, 65, died May 1 1972 at her home in
Lowell, Mass. following a long illness.
She was born at Campobello, NB Sept 20 1906, the daughter of
James Fulton and Alice (Mitchell) Babcock. She had resided in
Maine, returning to Massachusetts last year.
Survivors include her mother, Alice Babcock of Lubec; three
sister, Mrs. Marion Cote of Gardner, Mass., Mrs James (Louise)
Moores and Mrs. Charles (Alberta) Griffin, both of Lubec; three
brothers, Guilford Babcock of Lubec, Russell Babcock of Marlboro,
Mass., and Gorham Babcock of Dorchester, Mass; two daughters, Mrs
Sherman (Geraldine) Cook of Portland and Mrs. Ruth Groleau of
Rumford; several grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Ellsworth with burial in Tremont.
