(Newspaper Clipping from "The Courier" dated March 1 1917. ) John Poole passed away at the home of his parents here on the morning of February 10th. He had been ill but a few days. The cause of death was thought to be hemorrage of the brain. He was about twenty three years of age abd a general favourite with his companions. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm Poole, six brothers and one sister. The funeral was held on Monday and was largely attended. The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved family, especially as Mr Poole has himself been very seriously ill and is only partially recovered.
