LILLIAN G. PECK LUBEC - Lillian G. Peck, 79, passed away peacefully at the Oceanview Nursing Home, on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002. Lillian was born April 13, 1923, in Lubec, the daughter of Hazel (Babcock) and Leslie Brown. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Floyd; are three daughters, Jane Benoit of Northborough, Mass., Jill Granlund of Medfield, Mass., and Janice Cook of Hampden; two sons, Douglas Moreton of Collinsville, Va., and Michael Peck of Lubec; a sister, Glenice Burr of Rochester, N.H.; 10 grandchildren; two special cousins, Carolyn McConnell and Julian Blanch, both of Lubec, and several nieces and nephews and special friends. Lillian was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Moreton; daughter, Judith Moreton; and son, David Moreton.
Friends are invited to join Lillian's family for a Celebration of Remembrance at the Community Building at Quoddy View Apartments, 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Oceanview Nursing Home, 48 Washington St., Lubec, where Lillian served as a volunteer for many years.
