Inez V. Olson, 50, passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident on Nov. 28, 2002, in Lubec. She was born in Eastport, March 11, 1952, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Chute) Corey. She was a lady who loved her community and the people in it. She enjoyed walking, and socializing with friends in the Lubec businesses. At home she enjoyed her animals, plants, and her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Theodore "Teddy" Olson; two sons, Jason of Lubec and Trevor (Staff Sergeant U.S. Air Force, currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan); her parents, Charles and Lillian Corey, and one brother, Carl Corey, all of Campobello; a special grand-ma, Geneva Greenlaw of Lubec. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at the Christian Temple Church in Lubec, with Pastor Gary Look officiating. Burial will follow in the Olson Cemetery. Arrangements by McClure Family Funeral Services, Lubec.

LUBEC - Jason H. Olson, 32, died unexpectedly at his home in Lubec on Dec. 11, 2003. He was born July 7, 1971, in Eastport, the son of Theodore "Teddy" Olson Jr. and Inez (Corey) Olson. Jason was a Lubec High School graduate, Class of 1990. He worked many years in the salmon industry and was currently self employed. He was a member and past officer of the Sons of the American Legion Post No. 65 in Lubec. He was a man with a unique sense of humor, and loved making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music and playing horseshoes. He also enjoyed deep sea diving. He was predeceased by his mother, Inez, in 2002. He is survived by his father, "Teddy" of Lubec; a brother, Trevor (Staff Sergeant U.S. Air Force, currently stationed in Ramstein Germany); maternal grandparents, Charles and Lillian Corey of Campobello, New Brunswick; paternal grandmother, Valeria Hurd of Oromocto, New Brunswick; a very special great-grandmother, Geneva Greenlaw of Lubec; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by many, many friends. Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at the Lubec Christian Temple Church with pastor Gary Look officiating. Arrangements are in care of McClure Family Funeral Services, Lubec.
