Lubec - Mrs. Agnes C. McCurdy died January 8 1969, at the home of her daughter, Mrs Lena Ritchie of West Buxton.
She was born at Campobello, NB May 11 1900, the daughter of Joseph and Ellen (Bell) Phinney.
She was a member of the Catholic Women's Council of the Sacred Heart Church in Lubec. She moved to Lubec at an early age where she resided until 1966, when she moved to West Buxton to live with her daughter.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Margaret) Davis of Hartford, Conn; Mrs James (Lena) Ritchie of Buxton, Mrs. Gilbert (Muriel) Cox of Standish and Mrs. Osmond (Helen) Leighton of Lubec; three brothers, James, Lawrence and Everett Phinney, all of Eastport; four granchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral service were held at the Sacred Heart Church in Lubec with the Rev. Peter Gorham officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the Olsen Cemetery, Lubec.
