Pearl F. McGarvey, 77, of Portland died Monday in a local nursing home.She was born at Campobello Island, New Brunswick, a daughter of Patrick and Portia Porter Quinn, attended Eastport schools and moved to Portland in 1941.Mrs. McGarvey was employed for several years at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.She was a member of St. Luke's Cathedral in Portland and a former member of the Rebekahs.Her husband, Ralph McGarvey, died in 1975, and a son, J.
