LESLIE, JOHN - It is with deep regret that the family
announces the death of John Leslie, who passed
away peacefully with his loving sister
Edith Patterson and niece and nephew Patricia and Ivan Matthews
by his side, on Monday May 28, 2007 at the Campobello Lodge. Born
1917 in Back
Bay he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Cook)
Leslie. John was a Veteran of WWII. He worked as a fisherman and
a barber.
Besides his sister Edith and niece and nephew Patricia and
Ivan, he is survived by his brother Darrell Leslie (Victoria) of
Toronto; and several nieces
and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters
Frances, Emma, Lucy, Alberta and Vera; and brothers Josiah and
Basil. Resting at
Sea View Full Gospel Church, Back Bay, NB on Wednesday May 30,
2007 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday
May 31, 2007
at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. George Rural Cemetery.
The family would appreciate donations made to the Sea View
Full Gospel Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
