LUBEC-Bernard F. Harvey, 59, died unexpectedly March 30, 1984, while at work. He was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Campobello, N.B., the son of Walter and Ione (Johnston) Harvey. At the time of his death he was employed by the R.J. Peacock Canning Co. of Lubec. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War 11, and a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars of Lubec. Besides his mother of Lubec, he is survived by his wife, Ruby (Ruff) Harvey of Lubec; one son, Michael of East Hartford, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Chute of Bangor and Mrs. Shirley Ossinger of White Head Grand Manan, N.B.; eight grandchildren. Friends may call at the Michael F. Wilson Funeral Home, Lubec, 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Temple Church 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Francis Mabey officiating. Interment will be in Green Acres Cemetery, Lubec.
