(Newspaper Clipping from "The Courier" dated March 1 1917. ) A service in memory of the late Chas. Hilyard, former light keeper at Head harbour was held in the church on Sunday evening, February 18, and was largely attended.

HILYARD, RUBY MARION - The death of Ruby
Hilyard of Campobello, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital
on March 11, 2004. Born in Campobello, New Brunswick, she was the
daughter of the late Clarendon and Josephine (Henderson) Newman.
Predeceased by her husband Melvin Hilyard; two brothers; three
sisters; grandson Bruce Lank. Survived by two daughters, Jeannine
Lank of Wilson's Beach New Brunswick; Roselyn Johnston of
Welshpool New Brunswick; sister, Gladys Corbett of Woodland
Maine; five grandchildren, Norman Lank; Kenneth Lank; Linda
Andrews; James Johnston; Cathy Kay; eleven great-grandchildren,
six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visiting on Friday from 7 to 9 at the North Road Baptist Church
Welshpool New Brunswick. The funeral will be held 2pm on Saturday
from the church, with Rev. John Trembltt officiating. Interment
will take place in the Wilson's Beach Cemetery. For those who
wish, donations to New Brunswick Heart & Stroke, or to a
charity of the donors choice would be appreciated. MacDonald
