GREEN, ARLEEN MANETTA CLINE - 83; Grand Manan, passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Tuesday morning May 23rd, after a lengthy illness. Born at Campobello, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Hildred Cline. Mrs. Green was a devoted mother and worked most of her working career in the fish processing for Connor Bros. Seal Cove.
She was a member of the Grand Harbour Baptist Church, a member of the Church Choir, and the Sunday School. As well, she was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary Grand Manan Branch # 44. Mrs. Green is survived by her husband Bernard L. Green, one daughter Cheryl Russell (Barry) White Head, two sons Byron (Darlene) and Paul (Charlene) of Grand Harbour, one sister Marjorie Preston of Lubec, Maine, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 PM, 7-9 PM.
The funeral service will be held from the Grand Harbour Baptist Church on Thursday, May 25th, at 2 PM with Rev. Gordon Walker officiating assisted by Rev.
