The death of Francis C. Galley of
Campobello, occurred at the Campobello Lodge on Thursday, July
28, 2005.
Born in Campobello, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late
Ernest and Mary (Major) Galley.
Predeceased by his wife, Ruth (Cline)
Galley; son, Cleland (Bud) Galley; brothers, William and Albert
Galley.
Survived by his daughters,Vivian Galley, of Campobello and
Patricia (Glen) Matthews, of Campobello; sons Clinton (Gwendolyn)
Galley of Saint John and William Galley of Campobello; sisters,
Hylda Conrad and Marie Malanson; eleven grandchildren; thirteen
great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother- in-
laws, Winston Cline and Merwin Cline.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the Head Harbour Cemetery, Campobello with Rev. Mark Nolette officiating. The death of Patricia Ann NEWMAN Galley of Wilsons Beach, Campobello, New Brunswick occurred on August 23, 2006. Born in Eastport, Maine, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Florence (Lank) Newman Predeceased by her husband Cleland (Bud) Galley; Survived by her daughter, Mary Pauline Alexander; sons, Cleland, Dwayne (Leanne), Peter and Bradley (Danielle) Galley; grandchildren, Megan Galley, Jordan and Raeann Getchell, Brooke Alexander, Cohen and Carter Galley and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2pm on Monday at the Head Harbour Cemetery, Campobello with Rev. Charles Smart officiating. Charles Raymond "Milton" Galley The death of Charles Raymond "Milton" Galley of French Cove Road, Miramichi, NB, husband of the late Helen Vautour, occurred at the Miramichi Hospital on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009 at the age of 83.
Born in Campobello Island Milton was the son of the late Frank and Mary Julia (Major) Galley. Milton was an overseas WWII Veteran serving with the 4th. Division South Alberta Tanks Regiment. He was a Gunner and Tanker, a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br . # 10 Newcastle and was a retired mechanic. Milton is survived by one daughter, Margaret Ann Arseneault (Allen) of Douglastown, NB; two sons, Charles William (Margaret) of Napan, NB and Milton "Junior" (Kelly) of Taintville, NB; two sisters, Hilda Conrad of Vancouver Island and Marie Melanson of Moncton, NB; six grandchildren, Jenny, Jesse, Joshua, Kayla, Alicia, Krista and Kailey and several nieces and nephews . Predeceased by three brothers, Albert, William and Francis.
Visitation was held at Bell's Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm . Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from St. Samuel's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at 11 am with Father Maurice Swift officiating. Music by organist Barbara Daley accompanied by Church Choir. Active pallbearers were: Jesse Galley, Joshua Arseneault, Randy Galley, Clinton Galley, Buddy Vautour and Herman Melanson. Honorary pallbearers were: Dick Copp, Frank Mills, Doug Woods, Cecil Preston, Gerald Casey, Cyril Creamer and Percy McCormack. Words of Remembrances by grandchildren, Alicia and Joshua.
Burial followed in the church cemetery. In Milton's memory a donation may be made to the NB Lung Association. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Bell's Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB Telephone 622-3600

Helen Margaret Galley 1926 - 2006 The death of
Helen Margaret Galley wife of Milton Galley of Miramichi, NB
occurred on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Miramichi Regional
Hospital at the age of 80.
Born in Douglastown, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Edmonds) Vautour. Helen was a homemaker who attended St. Samuel's Roman Catholic Church and was a promoter of the Miraculous Medal. Besides her husband, Milton, Helen is survived by one daughter, Margaret Ann Arseneault (Allen) of Russellville, NB; two sons, William (Bill) (Margaret) of Napan, NB, Charles Junior (Kelly) of Miramichi, NB; one sister, Florence Preston (Cecil) of Ferry Road, NB; two brothers, Walter of Douglastown, NB, William (Bud) (Mary) of Redmondville, NB; six grandchildren, Jesse, Joshua, Kayla, Alicia, Krista and Kailey; and many nieces and nephews. Helen is predeceased by sisters, Marion, Margie, Alma and Olive; and brothers, Leo, Norman, Benny, Fred, John, Leonard and Chester.
The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, this evening from 7 to 9 PM and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Samuel's Roman Catholic Church, Douglastown, NB, on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 11 AM with Father Sam Diotte officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
In Helen's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society or the CCU of the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
