LUBEC - Vivian Arlene Case, 74, died Friday,
April 15, 2005, at Oceanview Nursing Home. Mrs. Case was born
June 7, 1930, in Trescott, daughter of the late Georgie and Eva
(Tinker) Moores. She was employed at Oceanview Nursing Home in
Lubec for more than 21 years as a C.N.A. and was a life time
member of the American Legion Post 65 in Lubec. Mrs. Case was
predeceased by her husband, Calvin Case in 1986. Surviving are
three sons, Peter J. and Paul Eugene Case, both of Lubec, and
John Case of Campobello Island, N.B.; seven daughters, Edith
Calder of Campobello Island, N.B., Gloria Zdanoski of Hampton,
Va., Patsy Green of Trescott, Darlene Morrison and Brenda Case,
both of Lubec, Eva Cox of Gilmanton, N.H., and Terry Tinker of
Campobello Island, N.B.; three brothers, Milford Moores of
Trescott, Leonard Moores of Bangor, and Philip Moores of Lubec;
five sisters, Myrtle Moores, Maxine Case, and Kathleen Moores,
all of Lubec, Bertha Jones of Ellsworth, and Phyllis Moores of
Kennebunkport; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many
nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m.
Monday, April 18, in Green Acres Cemetery in Lubec. In lieu of
flowers, donations can be made in Vivian's memory to the Calvin
Case Scholarship, care of Bar Harbor Banking & Trust in
Lubec. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
