MRS. HENRIETTA ("Kitty") ("Babe") BLANCH LUBEC- Mrs. Henrietta Blanch, 92, widow of Burton H. Blanch, died Oct. 29, 1978, at a Calais nursing home. She was born at Wilson's Beach, Campobello, N.B., March 27, 1886, daughter of Frank and Bertie (Mitchell) Brown. She was a member of the Lubec Congregational Church and a 76-year member of Lubec Grange. She spent the greater part of her life in Lubec, but in 1955 began making her home with her younger daughter and husband, with whom she resided in many different states, which she greatly enjoyed. Surviving are two sons, Lester and Julian, both of Lubec; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Clara) McFadeen of Cherryfield and Mrs. Ronald (Ruby) Johnson of Perry; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. (Celia) Blackwood of Brewer; several cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Flagg Funeral Home, Eastport, with the Rev. Roland A. Chaffey and the Rev. Donald Stockford officiating. Interment will be in the Corey Cemetery, Lubec.
