Our Clan Project was founded at Salt Lake City on August 25th, 2001, in recognition that no organised effort currently exists to represent the old family of Mullikine/Amuligane. It can trace its origins to Dumfriesshire in Scotland, where in 1492, the family seat of it's first known Laird and Chief, Fergus Mullikine alias Amuligane, was located at Blackmyre in the parish of Penpont. In 1741, the Arms of Mullikine (depict above) were allowed to Major James Milliken, whose family seat at Milliken House, was located near the town of Kilbarchan in Renfrewshire. The Chiefship ended with Sir Archibald Lennox Milliken-Napier, 10th Baronet of Merchistoun, who died in 1907. We are a non-profit organisation whose objective is to re-establish the Clan identity and Centre for the descendants of this ancient Scottish Family.
