Photo of William Bradford Murray (Murry) and his wife, Alice Mildred McCandless (McCandles) at Ft. Benton, Mt. about 1902. The couple was married at Rock Creek, ID, on 4 October 1891. They settled near Belgrade, MT, also living in Ft. Benton and Highland. It is believed that Alice died while they lived in Chouteau County, near Ft. Benton, MT about 1914-15. We have little information on Alice, who was reportedly of Shoshone ancestry. We would appreciate any information about this couple, especially my Great-grandmother's elusive past.
