I'm hoping somebody can either help or direct me to someone that can. Having been adopted, our Reed family info is limited to what is given below. Interested in 'even a clue' as to who our relatives are or were, contact with them, or whatever else you know to share.

MOTHER - maiden name

Mattie Louise Reed (1 of 10 children) - Caucasian

DOB: 12/13/29, Mississippi

• Mattie's mother: ____ Reed, DOB: 1889 est. Housewife, never employed outside of home, mother of 10; age 40 when Mattie was born.

• Mattie's father: ____ Reed (not A. H. Reed), DOD: 1940 est., when Mattie was 10 years old; cause of death unknown. Farmer, painter, father of 10.

Though born in Mississippi, known locations for Mattie (during 1945-50) include Arkansas, Tennessee, and Georgia. It is unknown if the family might have migrated. If you happen to run across info that might be connected to this family, please share.
