Thomas Almareen Williams was born Oct. 27, 1789 in North Carolina. He died bet. 1870 � 1880 in Oktibbeha Co., Miss.! He married Gilly Manning Apr. 14, 1811 in Clarke Co., Georgia. Gilly was born Dec. 25, 1790 in S. C., and died bef. 1860 near Williams Hill, Choctaw Co., Miss.! Thomas & Gilly left Georgia, and settled in Blount Co., Alabama before 1820. They later settled in Oktibbeha Co., Miss. Abt. 1837. After Gilly died, Thomas married again to Nancy Haley Nov. 7, 1869 in Oktibbeha Co., Miss. Nancy didn't have any children by Thomas. Thomas & Gilly had 13 children, they are listed according to birth; Bethsaida Martha Williams was born Jan. 28, 1812 in Clarke Co., Ga. And died aft. 1865, she married John H. Kelly Aug. 26, 1832 in Blount Co., Alabama, and they 11 children. Obedience Williams was born Aug. 9, 1813 in Clarke Co., Ga., and bef. 1870, she married Andrew Self, and they had 6 children. Margaret Williams was born Nov. 22, 1814 in Clarke Co., Ga.! No other info. about her.
Dixon D. Williams was born June 2, 1818 in Blount Co., Alabama. Dixon later became a doctor, and married Mary N. Tabor Sept. 1, 1840 in Winston Co., Miss. Dixon D. & Mary Williams had 8 children, and later moved to Izard Co., Arkansas! Infant son was born Dec. 28, 1819. Martha A. Williams was born May 2, 1821 in Blount Co., Alabama, she married William Jacob Saffell, and they had 4 known children. Orra Williams was born Aug. 2, 1823 in Blount Co., Alabama, and died Mar. 11, 1883 in Webster Co., Miss. She married Joel Foster Hamilton Sept. 21, 1844 in Oktibbeha Co., Miss. Joel & Orra had 9 children! Benjamin Cody Williams was born Sept. 17, 1825 in Alabama, and died Nov. 28, 1889 in Webster Co., Miss. He married Nancy Jennings June 25, 1852 in Choctaw Co., Miss. Nancy was born Nov. 11, 1833 & died June 6, 1859, in Choctaw Co., Miss. Ben & Nancy had 5 children, Benjamin Cody was buried at Double Springs Cemetery, Webster Co., Miss. After Nancy died, Ben married Martha Jane Ham Dec. 15, 1861, and they had 8 children. Martha Jane was also buried at Double Springs Cemetery. She was born Dec. 11, 1844 & died Jan. 13, 1870 in Choctaw Co., Miss. After she died Benjamin married Martha �Rush� Bingham Nov. 24, 1870. William Thompson Williams was born Sept. 7, 1827 in Blount Co., Alabama. And died bef. Mar., 1871 in Copiah Co., Miss. He married Absilla Hamilton abt. 1852, and they had 8 children. Absilla was a sister to Joel Foster Hamilton. Ira Malcolm {Mack} Williams was born Mar. 22, 1830 in Blount Co., Alabama, and died Jan. 12, 1906 in Sapa, Webster Co., Miss. He enlisted in Co. G. 31�st Miss. Regt. Infantry, during the Civil War. He was buried at Sapa Baptist Church Cemetery, in Webster Co., Miss.
Mack married Mary Elizabeth Stallings abt. 1858/1859 in Oktibbeha Co., Miss. Mack & Mary Elizabeth had 10 children. They were my Great, Great Grandparent�s! Nancy Williams was born abt. 1828/1832 in Alabama, and married Francis Sandlin, they had 4 known children. Julia Ann Williams was born June 15, 1832 in Alabama, she married Martin Van Buren Harpole Dec. 23, 1868 in Oktibbeha Co., Miss. Not sure if they had any children! Gilly Ann Williams was born Nov. 13, 1834 in Alabama, she married Thomas Parsons Burchfield Mar. 15, 1859 in Oktibbeha Co., Miss.! They had one daughter; Mary Elizabeth Burchfield.
Ira Malcolm {Mack} Williams married Mary Elizabeth Stallings, the daughter of Uriah & Delcie {Dilsa} �Boothe� Stallings! Mack & Mary Elizabeth had 10 known children, listed below are their name�s according to birth:
Mary Elizabeth {Bettie} Williams was born Feb. 28, 1860, and died Oct. 16, 1926 in Webster Co., Miss. She married William Albert Shaffer Jan. 9, 1883 in Webster Co., Miss. They had 8 children, and were my Great Grandparent�s!
Paul Andrew Williams was born Nov. 24, 1864, and died Oct. 5, 1889 in a Hotel fire, at Winona, Miss. He married Malissa E. Crowley Apr. 14, 1886 in Webster Co., Miss. They only had 2 son�s. Paul A. was buried at Old Cumberland Cemetery, Webster Co., Miss.!
Thomas Benjamin Williams was born Sept. 25, 1865, and died abt. 1911 in Sunflower Co., Miss. He married Mary Ann �Annie� B. Atwell Jan. 26, 1889 in Webster Co., Miss. They had 9 children.
James W. {Jim} Williams was born Oct. 5, 1868, and died Mar. 9, 1948 in Webster Co., Miss. He married Frances J. �Frankie� Crowley Dec. 25, 1887 in Webster Co., Miss. Frances was a sister to Malissa, the wife of Paul A. Williams. James & Frances had 6 children, after Frances died James married Ethel McAllister.
Nancy Williams was born Aug. 23, 1870, no other info. known about Nancy.
Louisana Lou Ann Williams was born Nov. 1, 1871, and died Apr. 7, 1964 in St. Francis Co., Arkansas. She married George N. Harris Mar. 7, 1895 in Webster Co., Miss. George & Lou Ann had 7 children.
Andrew M. Williams was born Oct. 21, 1873, and died July 31, 1951 in Webster Co., Miss. He married Nancy Ila McAllister Feb. 3, 1897 in Webster Co., Miss. Nancy was born Apr. 26, 1877, and died Dec. 11, 1942, They had 3 children, and was buried at New Long Branch Church Cemetery, Sapa, Webster Co., Miss.
Martha J. Williams was born Sept. 1, 1877, & died Jan. 22, 1970 in Indianola, Sunflower Co., Miss. She married William G. McAllister Jan. 10, 1900 in Webster Co., Miss. They had 4 children.
Virginia Ann �Jennie� Williams was born Nov. 10, 1879, & died Oct. 11, 1939. She married James Marion Whitaker Sept. 3, 1909 in Webster Co., Miss. They were buried at Kamp Kumbaya Camp Ground Cemetery, Sapa, Webster Co., Miss. Jim & Jennie had 5 children.
Henry Clay Williams was born Jan. 31, 1884, & died May 27, 1938 in Indianola, Sunflower Co., Miss. He married Ola Lee Harrison Aug. 16, 1905 in Webster Co., Miss. They had 9 children. Henry & Ola Lee were buried at Moorhead City Cemetery, Sunflower Co., Miss.!
