Samuel Wallace and Nancy Parting

 

Samuel Wallace was born abt. 1812 in South Carolina, and died abt. 1875 in Lamar Co., Alabama. He married Nancy Parting Aug. 1831 in Lauderdale Co., Alabama. They lived in Lauderdale Co., Ala. until after 1840. Samuel & Nancy were living in Oktibbeha Co., Miss. on the 1850 Census! They had 10 children; John T. Wallace born abt. 1833, he married Sarah E. St. John 1852 in Noxubee Co., Miss.! Lucy Catherine Wallace was born Apr. 1, 1834, died Nov. 14, 1918 in Claredon, Donley Co., Texas. Lucy married Ephihorn Aaron Abbott, and a Mr. McFarland. Louisa J. Wallace was born abt. 1837, she married John Green Hall. Mary Dicie Wallace was born Apr. 11, 1838, and died Nov. 4, 1895 in Pickens Co., Alabama. She married John W. Rickman, and they had 11 children! Sarah E. Wallace was born abt. 1840 in Ala., and died Apr. 19, 1921 near Walthall, Webster Co., Miss. Sarah never married, and lived with her siblings most of her life in Alabama, and Webster Co., Miss.! James T. Wallace was born abt. 1843, and died aft. 1910 in Miss. His wife was Martha ? maiden name unknown. They had three known children. William George Wallace was born abt. 1845, supposedly died in Columbus, Miss. Nancy C. Wallace was born Dec. 1847, and died Oct. 11, 1919, while on a trip by train from Houston, Miss. to Oxford, Miss., to visit her son Charles Clemmons! Nancy C. married Woodson Daniel Clemmons abt. 1863 in Pickens Co., Alabama. Woodson & Nancy settled near Woodland, Miss. aft. 1900. Samuel Watson Wallace was born abt. 1849, and died after 1900 in Wise Co., Texas. He married Laura Ann Sanders, a sister to Julia A. Sanders, who married Samuel�s younger brother ;Wiley P.! Berry Q. Wallace was born 1850/51, and died aft. 1920 in Marvell, Phillips Co., Arkansas! He married Mary L. Blair abt. 1874, they had several daughter�s! They later moved to the delta, and later in Arkansas! Wiley P. Wallace was born Mar. 6, 1851, and died May 22, 1914 in Union Co., Miss. He married Julia Ann Sanders, they had four children. Wiley P. & Julia were buried at Bethel Cemetery, in Etta, Union Co., Miss.! Several of Samuel & Nancy children, and grandchildren lived in Webster Co., Miss., Pontotoc Co., Union, and Sunflower Co., Miss.! And several lived in Oklahoma, Arkansas, & Texas. They also had lots of family back in Lamar Co., Alabama. Woodson & Nancy C. �Wallace� Clemmons were probably the Grandparent�s of Nettie Octavia Clemmons
