We are very fortunate that we have a small group of people who give us the gift of their time. We want to thank them for making the Museum what it is today. Currently, we have four active full-time volunteers who manage the business of the Society and the upkeep of the Museum, and one part-time volunteer who works as a docent at the Museum.

On-site volunteer opportunities include greeting the public, assisting with inventory control, research, filing, transcribing, maintenance, and more. Off-site volunteer opportunities include transcribing and research.

Volunteers are considered for two society awards given each year at our annual meeting. The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes a member for outstanding volunteer service to TCHGS during the preceding Society year. The Youth Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes a museum volunteer for outstanding service to TCHGS during the preceding Society year.
