HILL, MARTIN posted by Karen Waddell on Wednesday, June 16, 2004

Searching for Martin Family found in the 1920 census. Henretta(Etta Hanna) Martin. Her husband John died between 1910 and 1920. She is in Tallahatchie with children, Earl, Earnest, Sales, and Sadie. Found Earl and Sadie both married in Yalobusha county. Need help finding Earnest and Sales Henry Hill he took the Martin name when left by his mother Ethel Martin Hill and her husband Sam(Samuel)Hill. They left him because he was insane. My mother Emma Sue Martin remembers him because he taught her how to tie her shoes. This leads me to believe that he was disabled. Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated, I have hit a brick wall. John Martin's parents may have been Benjamin and Nancy Martin. Thank You, Karen
