I received the note below from Anna Henderson, along with most of the folks buried in this cemetery. It is great folk like Anna Henderson who help us and keep the USGENWEB up to date. Thanks Anna
I know the name of the unknown cemetery that is located next to home of
Mr. Bill Rodgers, address is 218 James Road, Enid, Mississippi .
The name is Sandy Creek Cemetery and my Dad, Buster Jones and Brother,
Sammie Jones are both buried there. In addition, to my grandparents
Pompey Jones and Nellie Driver Jones.They are remembered fondly by their
many descendants.
We are in the process of having the cemetery cleaned and restored and
will soon have a permanent marque erected on the site.
I would love to hear from you regarding how to get the coordinates so
I can have it listed on the web page.
