of William Rosser and Martha Elizabeth Langstaff. She came to Macon after
the death of her mother with her half brother William Bracey.
John James Spann was the son of Tyre Jennings Spann and Sarah
E Gerald.

Their only known child was Martha "Mattie" John Spann
