This Month's Program Feature
Though the monthly meeting is usually scheduled for the fourth Thursday night, this month we met on Friday the 28th.  A computer was set up in the meeting room of the library for a 'hands-on' demonstration of genealogy software.  We compared the three most-used programs by our group:


Family Tree Maker for Windows, Roots 5, and PAF. 


The seminar continued Saturday, March 1, from 9:00 am until noon. Carol Moore demonstrated and discussed PAF for the Saturday session. Shawn Pritchett demonstrated and discussed FTW and Doug McLain discussed pros and cons of Commsoft's new Roots 5.
