Titus Elkin WEBB
d. July 12, 1952

Services for Titus Webb, farmer in the Auburn community, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Priceville Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. James Faulkner, pastor of the Tupelo Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial was in Priceville cemetery with Pegues Funeral Home in charge.  He was 34.

Mr. Webb lost his life when a tractor, with which he was doing terracing work on his farm, turned over Saturday morning.  He was pinned beneath the tractor.

His mother, Mrs. Archie R. Webb, with whom he lived, became concerned about him when he did not return to the house for dinner  and a search was made which resulted in the finding of his body.  Mr. Webb apparently had been dead three or four hours when found. In addition to his mother, Mr. Webb leaves a sister, Mrs. J.R. Carnathan of Auburn.
