Raymond Partlow died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at his residence in the Plantersville community following an illness of four months. He was 76. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday at Unity Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Joseph P. Echols and Mr. Godbold officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park with Pegues Funeral Directors in charge. Mr. Partlow, a lifelong resident of Plantersville, was a retired farmer and landowner. He was an elder and member of the Unity Presbyterian Church and served a number of years as church treasurer. Survivors include
his widow, Mrs. Lovie Morgan Partlow; one daughter, Mrs. Erin Coggin,
and one son, Russell Partlow, both of Plantersville; one sister,
Mrs. J.N. McWhorter of Plantersville; two brothers, Roy Partlow and W.C.
Partlow, both of Plantersville; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carrol Coggin, Harold Coggin, Junior McWhorter, Ben
Ruff, Carl Harris, Morgan Estes, Rex Harris and Buddy Partlow. The body
will be at the funeral home until 3 p.m. when it will go in state
at the church. |
