H L "Hope" Sutton

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10:00 from Saulters Funeral Home Chapel for Mr H L (Hope) Sutton, 91, who died Monday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs T F Bozeman of Hazlehurst, where he had resided for the past several years. Interment followed in the Crooked Creek Cemetery with Saulters Funeral Home in charge.

Mr Sutton was a longtime resident of the Crooked Creek Community where he farmed. He was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church. He had been in ill health for several years.

Survivors include one son, Lamar Sutton of Silver Creek; three daughters, Mrs Bozeman of Hazlehurst; Mrs Ernest Nichols of Brandon; Mrs B W Matthews of Jackson; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
