My DAR ancestor comes through my grandmother Ada E. Posey Wooten whose mother was Rachel Felder, her father was David F. Felder, his father was Peter Felder, his was Peter Felder(no.1) then Captain Henry Felder of the Revolutionary War and his father was Hans Heinrich Felder of Zurich, Switzerland. They were German. I believe the Felder campgrounds are named after them. Captain Felder and his seven sons served in the Revolutionary War. He was shot by the Tories after they torched and burned his home for the second time.
