This website is a member of the American History and Genealogy Project. If you would like to participate, please review the guidelines for submission to this website, and then send an email to [email protected] to register your county project, add a link to your Mississippi Civil War history site, or submit historical information concerning Mississippi during the Civil War and Reconstruction period.  All submissions are the copyrite of the person making the submission. Registered users may submit articles and links to this website provided that the information meets the following criteria. Please keep in mind that the information submitted is not checked for accuracy, submissions should not be under copyrite of anyone else, all information is the responsibility of the submittor.

 

1) No genealogical information pertaining to living persons shall be printed or published for public viewing in agreement with the guidelines  set forth by the National Genealogical Association and similiar internet safety guidelines.

 

2) Information presented must be from the actual person listed as the "user" of this website and maintain a workable email address. Your email address identifies you as the "contributor".

 

3) You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws, however, this website is meant as a history project and does make every effort to cover both sides of the conflict in its appropriate context.

 

4) You agree that Mississippi Civil War Forum or Mississippi Civil War American History and Genealogy Projecthave the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic of the forum or any article on the website(s) at any time should the webmaster see fit.
