STONE COUNTY, MISSOURI
INSIDE WOOLEY CREEK SCHOOL

The photos below show the work done to date on the Wooley Creek School project.
Scroll down the page and take a look back in time to the days of the one room school.

Entry into the school..

Drinking cups and lunch pails.

Three windows that were originally on the east side of the school building were moved and added to the three that were on the west side originally. When the school was first built there were three windows on each side of the school. According to the school directors, the Missouri Dept. of Education ordered the change.

The photo wall is a collection of memorabilia that has been gathered. It includes photos of former students and teachers, copies of perfect attendance, spelling and handwriting certificates, etc.

The teacher's desk is not original but the desks in our photos are. When our local school (Reeds Spring district) learned that we needed a teacher's desk, they donated one to us that had been in the district many years and no longer used.

Close up of the bookcase to show some of the memorabilia that we have collected.
