Rolen Ottendorf, 70, of 2740 West Harrison, died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Ottendorf was a building contractor here. He also was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lizzie; one son, J. William Ottendorf, 3515 Primrose Court; two daughters, Mrs. Joan M. Alhmood, Rockville, Md., and Mrs. Janice Peebles, 1444 South Overbrook; two brothers,  Oscar and Everett, both of Billings; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Greenlawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Hamilton and the Rev. Allen Maple officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
