Audie O. Benham, daughter of J.D. and Visa (May) Scott, was born July 31, 1899 in Stone County, Mo., and departed this life Jamuary 23, 1990 in Crane Health Care Center, Crane, Mo., at the age of 90 years, five months, and 22 days.

Audie was a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include:  two sons, J.D. Benham and his wife Dixie of Oklahoma City, Ok., and James Robert Benham and his wife Francis of Casselberry, Florida; two daughters, Ethel Bolin and Norman of Mt. Vernon, Mo., and Billie Davidson of Galena, Mo.;  14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held Saturday, January 27, 1990 at 10 a.m. in Galena Cemetery with Gary M. Stumpff officiating.  Arrangements were made under the direction of Cheatham-Stumpff Funeral Home.
