Funeral services will be held this morning in Brentwood for Myrtle F. Kelley, a longtime Byron area resident and former Tracyite. She died Thursday in Manteca Convalescent Hospital following a lengthy illness. A native, of Galena, MO, Mrs. Kelley had lived in Tracy before moving to Brentwood in 1943. She was the daughter of James W. Butler and Thersa L. Stephens. She was the widow of Daniel “Lee” Kelly, a farmer who died in 1964. Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Bentwood First Baptist Church.
She was the mother of Wesley Holden of Byron, Imogene Carlile, James D. Kelley and Aldean Kelley all of Tracy and Robert Kelley and Jack Kelley both of Brentwood. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. today at Brentwood Funeral
Home, 839 First St, Brentwood. Interment will be at Union Cemetery near
Brentwood.
