STEWART FAMILY
January, 2009 - According to information
from Woody L. Franklin, "The child on Ben Stewart's lap is Charles Lester
Stewart, his son and the crabby looking young lady is his daughter Nancy
Ellen. The young lady on the left holding the doll and with big bows in
her hair is Gladys Keithley and the girl right of Nancy Ellen is Mamie
Keithley. They are both daughters of Ben's sister Lula Myrtte Stewart and
Pleasant Keithley. The remaining boy, by deduction, is Charles S. Keithley,
son of Frances Arabel Stewart and James William Archibald Keithley."
The man on the left is Charles Benjamin Harrison Stewart.
He is the youngest son of the man on the right who is Isaiah Stewart. Isaiah
fought in the Civil War.The family lived in both Christian and Stone counties
over the years.
