Located on Silver Lake Branch, about 3 miles East and 1 1/2 miles South of Union City.
The land for Pleasant Valley Church and Cemetery, better know as Little White Church and Cemetery, also know as Cloud and Kimberling Cemetery, was donate by Davis Kimberling. Davis Kimberling built the old mill on Silver Lake Creek in 1865. After the death of Davis Kimberling, August 16, 1888, Ambrose C. Cloud bought the property causing people to refer to Church and Cemetery as Cloud's
It is not known when the church was built but it was before 1886. In a will written by Davis Kimberling, it states the 2 acres where the church stands is given forever. The old church still stands today, 2006, even though it it is in a sad state of repair, as a reminder of happy times long gone by. Of all the revivals, the singing, shouting and praying that took place within its walls.
It is not known who the first person to be buried in the cemetery was, but the oldest date I have is for Rachael Ann Culp Lentz, 1885. There is reason to believe there was others earlier than 1885, possibly as early as 1870 when Davis Kimberling lost his wife Rebecca. The cemetery is in very poor condition and in much need of care. Some headstones have been removed and native stones marking graves has been removed, leaving those graves lost forever. This is unfortunate that these headstones and native stones have been removed, leaving the resting place of these people lost to descendents who may visit the cemetery looking for the grave site of an ancestor lost long ago.
At the entrance to the cemetery there was 5 graves marked with native stone that have been removed, they were children of one family NOI.

It is known that there are Clifton's buried in this cemetery. NOI
Family members believe that Jessie and his wife Margaret Dailey Clifton are buried in this cemetery. NOI
I'm sure there are others buried in this old cemetery
that we have no record of, nor family members living to tell of their family
members who may be buried there.
