The following students made 90 or above in all subjects, except as otherwise stated, during the first quarter of school work:
Seniors: Marion Davis, Keith Davis, Bonnie Deafenbaugh and Hallie Ross made 90 in three subjects.
Juniors: Evelyn Smay, Jean Ogle, Ruby Hilty, Irene Bauer, Emma Leabo, Jewell Garnett made 90 in three subjects.
Sophomores: W.J. Cleveland, Floyd Quinn, Olin Wright, Esther Neuenschwander, Elizabeth Ross, Mabel Shy, Tevis Terwilliger, Lee Nash and Howard Brack made 90 in three subjects.
Freshmen: Iris Garnett, Amos Jackson, Anna Neuenschwander, Bertha Irvin made 90 in three subjects.
Eighth grade: Robert Douglas, Dawson Nesbit, Maxine DeLozier, Wilma Irvin, Dorothy Hatfield, Florence Deafenbaugh made 90 in all but one subject.

Sixth grade: Mildred Lyon made 90 in all but one subject.

Fourth Grade: Catherine Shepherd, George Martin, Marguerite Osborn, Edna May Lawson, Pollyanna Crawford made 90 in all but one subject.
Third grade: Helen Elizabeth Nesbit, J.N. Nielsen, Billy Ves Pritchard, Donivan Thomas.
Second grade: Erma Chiles, Bobby T. Lyon, Mary Louise Armstrong and Robert Creswell Benigar made 90 in all but one subject.
