Elected New President
St. Clair County Democrat
14 August 1919
At a meeting of the Board of Education held last Friday
evening, Miss Grace Galbreath, of Coffey, Mo., was elected as
Principal of the Osceola High School for the ensuing year.
Miss Galbreath is a graduate of the Kirksville Teachers’
College, has taken special work at the University of Missouri,
and has had two years’ experience in High School work.
In addition to the above, she comes specially recommended by
State Superintendent Baker. The Board was fortunate in being
able to secure her services and she will no doubt be
instrumental in maintaining the position which our school
occupies among like institutions of this state.
