Mallicoat Family

Jasper, son of Morah and Effa Johnson Mallicoat, was born 11 January 1852 in Polk County, Mo., married 2 November 1884 Martha Ellen, daughter of John and Martha Richey Keeton, at Roscoe, Mo. Jasper died 18 February 1910 and Martha died 8 December 1923. Both are buried in the Roscoe Cemetery.
Thirteen children were born to Martha and Jasper: Charley, born September 1885, died 12 February 1920, buried Roscoe Cemetery; Luther, born October 1886, died 13 May 1961, buried Roscoe Cemetery; Mamie, born February 1888, (married Fred Jackson), died December 1956, buried Roscoe; Samuel Clyde, born July 1890, died 8 December 1957, buried Roscoe Cemetery; John Grover, born December 1891, died 16 July 1961, buried Roscoe Cemetery; William Tell, born December 1893, died 29 September 1985, buried Roscoe Cemetery; James Wesley, born September 1895, died 20 November 1980, buried Osceola Cemetery; Effie, born and died 1897; Infant Twins (son and daughter), born and died 1898, buried Roscoe Cemetery; Frank, born June 1900, died 24 November 1986, buried Benton Green Cemetery; Addie May, born January 1903, married Eula Williams, died 11 December 1985, buried Benton Green; George W., born June 1906, died 31 December 1963, buried near Kansas City, Mo.
