Located in Preston township, township 53, Range 34, Section 1&2, on Cockriel Road, off of Little Platte Road in Platte County, Missouri. The first marker not of stone was for James (1812-1859) Cockriel. The Cockriel Cemetery, Nonprofit Corporation established September 8, 1998, Platte County, Missouri.

We think that she then married James Cockriel about 1855 in KY. We think that the parents of Lucinda Cox were James and Frances Cox.
